Execution: improving on-time performance

THIS issue of EMR examines some of the issues and challenges related to improving on-time performance. As managers of engineering and technology and as technical professionals we???re aware of the negative consequences of not meeting requirements, schedule delays, and cost overruns. We play a major role in fulfilling the discipline of execution as described by Bossidy and Charan; we share those responsibilities with other organizational executives and managers.
