Abstract :
Ball mills are common equipments in coal-fired power plants of China. They are no-linear MIMO systems. The efficient control for a ball mill based on mathematic model may be difficult. In this paper, an intelligent self-tuning control is discussed for ball mill. There are everal rule sets to be set up for various applications in the system,. One of them can update rules within the control system. A simulation shows that the system is available. Control of ball mills may save electric energy, decrease pollution. It is significant to decrease greenhouse gas emissions and protect environment.
