Abstract :
A strategy for direct torque control by fuzzy logic (FDTC) of switched reluctance motors is presented. Two fuzzy controllers are used in a cascade configuration to control the motor speed in the outer loop and to implement the direct torque and flux control scheme using space vector in the inner loop. Simulation results are presented and the controller performance is compared with those obtained with conventional DTC.
