  • Abstract
This paper discusses the track layout of a light rail vehicle application (LRV) to be simulated along with an Energy Storage System (ESS) aiming to counteract voltage sags. It also describes the train modeling technique used in a train run simulator and a network simulator including the ESS. It compares experimental results with simulation. A sensitivity analysis to ESS and algorithm parameters is performed.
