  • Abstract
Chaos motion, which exists in ship steering, has a direct influence on ship steering control. In order to achieve the purpose of controlling chaotic ship steering, two methods for controlling chaos based on improved double-pulsed parameter perturbation and periodic rectangular impulsive parameter perturbations are respectively proposed, and the control laws of the two methods are studied. The simulation results show that the proposed control methods can stabilize the controlled system to different periodic orbits or fixed points, and the control effectiveness is demonstrated.
