Abstract :
Flight simulation is a necessary process in designing of flight control laws, so develop a convenient and low cost flight simulator is very important and meaningful, especially in the early design stage of control law design. This paper develops a real time visualization flight simulator based on Matlab/Flightgear/Atlas, and uses nonlinear dynamic inversion method combined with flight quality requirements to design flight control laws for a supermaneuverable aircraft. It puts forward the cobra maneuver simulation on the flight simulator at last. The simulation results show that the control laws perform excellently not only at the normal flight envelope but also at high angle of attack and validate the feasibility of the flight simulator.
