Abstract
A practical cooperative spectrum sensing scheme suitable for wireless cognitive radio with imperfect feedback channels is proposed. In the proposed scheme, binary local decision bits are transmitted over feedback channels and combined to form a soft-valued decision statistics by a "majority-decision-aided" weighting rule in the fusion center. The proposed scheme provides high sensing reliability with avoiding overhead problems caused by imperfect feedback channels such as bandwidth expansion and instantaneous channel estimation.
