Abstract :
In this paper the variable structure control design for a class of time-delay nonlinear systems is discussed with employing the fuzzy logic. We give a sufficient condition for the existence of liner sliding surfaces guaranteeing asymptotic stability of time-delay system. In terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), we concerns with the stability analysis and synthesis of close-loop systems via variable structure control. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the feasibility of the proposed control methodology.
