Abstract :
Steady-state visual evoked potential (SSVEP) has been widely used in online Brain computer interface (BCI), due to its high signal-to-noise (SNR). However, owing to the limitation of brain physiology, the number of frequency stimuli that can evoke the strong SSVEP is very limited, which cannot realize the target number as desired. In our previous work, we have developed a Multiple frequencies sequential coding (MFSC), which can realize the efficient coding for targets by utilizing both the temporal and frequency information. In current work, we will use two frequencies stimuli to realize the 4-dimension control. The results confirmed that this coding scheme can actually have high accurate output for BCI system, and it may be a promising protocol in the SSVEP based BCI system.
