Abstract
This paper deals with non-fragile state feedback control problem for offshore steel jacket platform system when subject to nonlinear self-excited hydrodynamic forces, the additive and multiplicative gain variation forms are considered, respectively. A non-fragile state feedback controller (NFSFC) is introduced to improve the performance of the offshore platform system. By Lyapunov theorem, the sufficient condition of asymptotically stable of system is developed, which present a feasibility to design the NFSFC. Simulation results show that compared with the state feedback controller (SFC), under the control of proposed NFSFC, the displacements of offshore platform and the required control forces are both reduced.
