  • Abstract
    In this paper, a process implementing real time HILS(Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulator) for 5 stand cold rolling mill is presented. Based on the nonlinear mill model, individual mill stand is described as software simulator in SIMULINK. Combined with PLC(Programmable Logic Controller), HILS is constructed from software simulator using TCP/IP communication interface between target PC and PLC. AGC(Automatic Gauge Control) and ATR(Automatic Tension Regulator) which are applied in the real plant is realized for accurate simulation. Simulational results are given to show the accuracy of proposed HILS.
