Abstract :
Efficiency of power amplifiers has been a major issue in the field of wireless transmitters and microwave power transmitters. Accordingly, many techniques for high efficiency have been proposed [1][2]. The use of class-F amplifiers has been considered to be one of the most effective approaches at microwave or higher frequencies. The drain efficiency is 100% for ideal class-F operation with an infinite number of harmonics in operating waveforms [2]. Such operation is realized with complete load conditions [3].
