Abstract :
This paper describes the bandwidth characteristics of AMC (Artificial Magnetic Conductor) with a lossy dielectric substrate. It is researched that the influence of the lossy dielectric substrate on the reflection characteristics of the AMC. It is clarified that the reflection phase of the AMC with lossy substrate doesn´t have the PMC (Perfect Magnetic Conductor) characteristics when the loss of the dielectric substrate is larger than a specific value.
