Abstract :
The effect of the meander patch on a simple printed dipole antenna which exhibits dual-band operations was reported in this paper. It was found that m1 acts as the series open-circuited tuning stub (matching network) that creates the occurrence of second resonant frequency. In addition to that, the meander patch on the antenna was seen to have some effect on widening the bandwidth.
