Abstract
A problem of power transmission into two cylinder-penetrated circular apertures in parallel conducting planes is studied rigorously. The scattered fields are represented in terms of discrete and continuous modes by using the Weber transform and superposition principle. The boundary conditions are enforced to obtain a set of simultaneous equations for the discrete modal coefficients. The transmission coefficient is represented in fast convergent series which is amenable to computation. The transmission coefficient is evaluated for various geometric parameters to show the behaviour of a power penetration into cylinder-penetrated apertures.
