Abstract
In distributed environment, in order to manage and share data resources better, tracking the origin and evolution of the data is needed to obtain the data provenance information, used to judge the quality and credibility of the data. In order to provide the framework basis which is used to analyze the dependent relationships of data provenance, a tracking framework for distributed environment based on semantic annotation of data provenance is proposed and functions of specific modules in this framework are described. The framework is also explored in different perspective of time dimension and semantic dimension.
