Abstract :
The aim of this paper is to reduce power consumption of mobile computing system for data storing in data de-duplication technique. The volume of mobile database and the information storage space is increasing day by day due to data duplication. Therefore system performances are degrading. Data de-duplication reduces storage space and network load and also improves system performance. This paper proposes an energy calculating algorithm for mobile data storage system in respect of data duplication and graphically proves that energy is directly proportional with the data storage.
