Abstract :
With computer technology, communication technology and network technology in power system applications, Fault location and analysis of power system gradually toward the direction of the image, intelligent, GIS (geographic information system) which became the new trends introduced into the system fault locating. This paper briefly describes the three common distribution network fault location method, carried out a detailed distribution network GIS data model and the distribution network GIS network model, on the basis of the Bayesian formula, a GIS-based distribution network fault location algorithm, which greatly improve the distribution system fault locating efficiency, and ensure the distribution network of safe, reliable operation.
