Abstract :
This paper presents modeling and simulation of single stage proton exchange membrane fuel cell based distributed generation system using PSCAD/EMTDC simulation software. The system under study comprises sinusoidal pulse width modulation (SPWM) inverter, LC filter and a step up transformer. The system has been tested under several modes of operation and the simulation results are presented and discussed.
