Abstract
A quasi-stationary self-consistent model of REB interaction with a gas target located in a stationary external azimuthal magnetic field is presented. Experimental results of the study are reported. Promising results are expected to be obtained from the use of gas targets in the external azimuthal magnetic field for soft (10-100 keV) Bremsstrahlung generators with controlled dose, source configuration and spectrum.
