Abstract
Experimental results are reported on a plasma cathode electron source, generating a high-current electron beam, capable of high repetition-rate operation. At the accelerating voltage of 25 kV the source produced the total current of 1 kA with the pulse length of 100 nsec, the current rise-time and fall being 25 nsec, the pulse train repetition rate - 30kHz.
