  • Abstract
Results of experiments on producing high-power millimeter and submillimeter radiation are presented. The experiments were conducted on a high-current electron accelerator. Regimes of free electron maser (FEM) generation were achieved using a helical undulator to pump the transverse velocity of electrons. For electron energies up to 1 MeV, there were observed two spectral regions of intense radiation: one about a wavelength of 4 mm and another about 1 mm. with integral power of 1 MW and 0.2 MW respectively.
