Abstract
In this paper, a simple adaptive frequency sampling scheme employing interval bisection combined with the Cauchy method implemented through Stoer-Bulirsch algorithm is examined as a tool for generating broadband shielding behavior of wire-grid cages from “rigorous” electromagnetic simulation based on the method-of-moments. The approach offers fast and accurate frequency-sweep calculations and a possibility of extrapolating MoM results towards very low frequencies.
