Abstract
This paper proposes an on-demand control system for demand and supply control, which is mainly suitable for small independent power grids with unstable renewable energy generators. The proposed system has been named as “On-demand Generation Regulation Control (OGRC)” system and can be installed at control centers of the small independent grids. This system is observing the unstable generator outputs and watching all generators/batteries status including electric vehicles to realize on-demand regulation of unstable generators. The performance of the proposed system is verified through numerical simulations based on an actual ongoing test site.
