Abstract
The interference from terrestrial base stations or mobile terminals to the satellite system is one of the important parameters for realization of a new satellite mobile communication system, in which terrestrial mobile and satellite communication systems coexist and which is seamlessly integrated in the same frequency band. We conducted several experiments to measure the radiation powers of the existing mobile base stations and mobile terminals toward satellites using aircrafts as part of the interference evaluation. This paper gives the overview of the experiment and some of the analysis results.
