Abstract :
This paper proposes a modified full-duplex one-way (FD-OW) relaying and discusses an adaptive relaying based on modified FD-OW relaying and half-duplex two-way (HD-TW) relaying. The modified FD-OW relaying applies cooperative relaying scheme to conventional FD-OW relaying to achieve diversity gain. The optimal relaying transformation matrices that maximize the capacity for each relaying scheme are derived to estimate the ability of adaptive relaying. The result of performance evaluation demonstrates the ability of adaptive relaying to improve the outage capacity.
