Abstract
A new soft-decision sphere decoding algorithm for linear codes is proposed. The algorithm is based on the recursive vector generator previously proposed by the authors. The algorithm can be applied for codes that do not have special structures. Simulation results of the algorithm for codes of length up to 128 show the algorithm´s effectiveness.
