  • Abstract
The pressure of dissociation and expansion of a gas hydrate can fully power a compression gas engine with a temperature gradient of about 10 °C. The use of low temperature exhaust heat (high temperature) and green energy (low temperature) can easily provide this temperature difference. The dissociation characteristics of a gas hydrate can be used to develop a clean and efficient hydrate actuator. From the fundamental test, the basic characteristic of the power generation system by dissociation and expansion characteristics of CO2 hydrate was examined.
