Abstract :
We study on the power smoothing system for micro-grid using electric double layer capacitor (EDLC). This system compensates the power fluctuation caused by power generation using renewable energy or sudden load change and so on. In the paper, we propose a power smoothing method and we verify the proposed method by simulation. And we present the damping characteristics of the entire system in order to design the system easily.
