Abstract :
A novel 12/14 hybrid stator pole type bearingless switched reluctance motor (BLSRM) is presented. The novel BLSRM has separated torque and suspending force poles, so the toque control can be naturally decoupled from the suspending force control. In order to verify the proposed BLSRM, based on the novel structure, a control scheme is proposed. According to the proposed control scheme, experimental system is constructed and experiments are performed. The experimental results show that the motor can operate steadily and the torque control can be decoupled from the suspending force control, which verifies the validity of the proposed structure and its control scheme.
