Abstract
The article deals with the conceptual approaches towards the creation of independent expertise of knowledge quality control in technical universities. Control is considered as the means of objective and systematical information about the students´ acquisition of knowledge, skills and experience for preparation, consideration and implementation of managerial decisions on all the levels. The system of diagnostics of final results of the educational activities will be effective if it is based on unified approaches to the contents, format and analysis of the tests results.
