  • Abstract
A photosynthetic fuel cell by bacteria has attracted features for a new energy by photosynthetic bacteria. Conventional methods requires for a mediator. It has a drawback because of light deterioration material. This paper is focused to develop a mediatorless fuel cell by photosynthetic bacteria with high efficiency. The purple non-sulfur bacteria is newly employed for an anode which is attached to electrode directly in order to improve power efficiency. Experimental results are demonstrated to generate power and light response of the purple non-sulfur bacteria.
