Abstract :
In this paper, a class of nonsmooth dynamical systems is analyzed. We shown the analytical analysis of stability of a periodic orbit near to a discontinuity point in a cam follower impacting system. The most relevant phenomena is the corner impact bifurcation. A numerical example is given for illustrating and interpreting the theoretical results. Theoretical findings are supported by the results of numerical simulation.
