Abstract :
Parking safety has been a matter of concern since visual blind spots exist through the rear-view mirror to watch the surrounding environment. Image stitching technology is the main technology used in the parking aided system. as well as its development status at home and abroad, it has been a popular research field. This technology mainly contains two parts of image registration and image fusion. Image registration is the core technology of Image stitching technology. a feature point matching method based SURF algorithm is selected to realize this technology. through the experiments and analysis of the results, automatic stitching is achieved on four overlapping pictures ultimately.
