Abstract :
Based on the conception of storing by category as well as taking the cost of storing, fetching and place occupation under consideration, this paper denotes a Artificial Bee Colony inspired Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm intending to figure out the problem of storage position allocation in the warehouse schedule. a value called COI (Cube-per-order index) is introduced in the allocation procedure as the criterion of categories in order to partition the goods. in the last part of this paper, the efficiency and result of this algorithm are analyzed by deploying it into the practical applications, which also proves that this algorithm can deal with this problem effectively.
