Abstract :
The defects of traditional WebGIS model and problems of current common load balancing algorithms are analyzed. A new WebGIS model based on response ratio priority scheduling algorithm is proposed. Based on the waiting time and executing time, the model can calculate the response ratio priority of all requests and select the highest one. According to the load capacities of map servers, the task which has the highest request priority will be submit to the map server which has the lightest load to process. In this paper, the weaknesses of the traditional WebGIS model such as lower parallel processing capability and inefficient load balancing algorithm are solved in the new model. At last, a test is built to verify the model´s performance.
