Abstract :
Lateral thrust is commonly used in modern missile to intercept high-maneuvering target accurately. in this paper, compound control algorithm based on adaptive fuzzy control with variable universe was given for a missile with lateral thrust. fuzzy control theory is used to adjust value of lateral thrust to track overload instruction. in order to track overload accurately, a proper universe expand-shrink factor is chosen to change universe adaptively. compared with the traditional control methods, the compound control proposed can shorten the overload response time, reduce the overshoot, increase the available overload, and has a stronger robustness with parameter perturbation.
