Abstract :
To meet the requirements of hard disk drives, the mechanical component should be improved considering it. As the track density is dramatically increased for large capacity, the new enablers to reduce the external vibration are introduced. Among the enablers, this paper is focused on a strategy to reduce the off track due to arm bending under dual stage actuator system. This work shows the optimal design of arm for reducing the off track.
