Abstract
The paper presents an implementation in Matlab of waves´ propagation in bidemensional media. For this purpose, Maxwell´s equations are solved numerically, using the Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) method. Different boundary conditions are implemented and verified. Due to its high capabilities in handling matrices manipulations, Matlab proves an efficient tool for implementing the FDTD method.
