A study on measure of Semantic Relatedness efficiency in multimedia domain

Wide usage of internet in modern era calls for brand new data and knowledge management system compatible with the dynamic content of the Web. Identifying content resembling similar characteristics is of great importance in organizing and managing data and knowledge. A common but simple way to identify related items is using Measure of Semantic Relatedness (MSR) algorithms. Most of these algorithms are tuned in various ways to suffice a particular requirement. This study investigates the efficiency of these functions in the domain of multimedia.
