Abstract :
This paper presents the design of an unequal-split Wilkinson power divider operating at arbitrary dual-band without reactive components. Unlike the traditional approaches, a pair of coupled lines is introduced to achieve the dual-band operation. The proposed divider can operate over a wide range of band-ratios. Moreover, the overall structure of power divider can be simplified with small number of transmission line sections using the proposed method. Closed-form equations of the proposed structure are derived based on transmission line theory. For verification, the measured results of a 2:1 power-divider circuits operating at 1 and 2 GHz are given.
