Abstract
Wireless power transfer (WPT) is interesting again because it is an effective technology to realize the ubiquitous society. WPT via magnetic resonant coupling is a new technology which power can be transferred via coupled magnetic resonant in the non-radiative near-field. A simple wireless desktop charging system via coupled magnetic resonant was proposed in this paper. This system contains two same structure minimize antennas which was embedded into the monitor and the portable electronic devices. The transfer efficiency related with different transfer conductions was simulated and analysed. Experimental results show that the power transfer efficiency is more than 70% when the distance between two antennas are 30mm. The receiving antenna can be also used as a communication antenna because the reflection coefficient of antenna is low when antenna resonant at high communication frequency bandwidth of UHF.
