Abstract :
As an extended research, basic MUF of nine circuits in China eastern region during medium epoch of the solar activity was collected, which azimuth ranges from 23.9 ° to 357.9°, and distance from 519.5 km to 2118.4 km. Then, basic MUF theoretical prediction based on ITU-R reference ionospheric model and China reference ionospheric model are compared. The results show that: basic MUF predicted result based on China reference ionospheric model is better than that based on ITU-R reference ionospheric model in China region. It is agreeable to the conclusion during minimum epoch of the solar activity.
