Abstract
In this paper, a method of near field scattering measurement based on ISAR imaging technique is introduced. Put the target on a turntable for near field Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR) imaging, and get the position and amplitude information of scattering center from the image, then predict its far field Radar Cross Section (RCS). The results of computer simulation show that the RCS obtained by this method agree very well with the theoretical RCS value.
