  • Abstract
    A precondition method without additional memory is presented to reduce the iterations and improve solving efficiency when accurate method is used to calculate the RCS of aircrafts. By utilizing the feature of near groups impedance matrix is sparse in MLFMA, the near groups impedance matrix is divided into the one with the same father and others with different father. The inverse matrix of the impedance matrix with the same father is used as the precondition matrix in parallel MLFMA to reduce iteration numbers, accelerate the convergence. The numerical results show that the presented method can significant reduce the iterations and converge rapidly. The method is practical in the RCS accurate computational engineering of aircrafts.
