  • Abstract
Based on the Cox-Munk sea model, we calculate the emissivity of rough sea surface without interaction between the wave facets, and the emissivity of rough sea surface considering about interaction between the wave facets. According to the emissivity of rough sea surface, we compute the radiance diances of rough sea surface based on the two emissivity models at different view angles in the 3-5 micron band and 8-12 micron band respectively. Finally, we obtain that the difference of the radiances is found to be small for small to moderate view angles. For large view angles, the discrepancy of the radiances is large. In the 3-5 micron band, the difference increases with the growth of wavelength, when the wavelength is 5 micron, the difference is 0.0002 w/cm2.μm.sr, reaching the maximum, In the 8-12 micron band, the maximal discrepancy of the radiances is 0.00091 w/cm2.μm.sr.
