  • Abstract
    With the using of embedded computer and Windows, Linux, VxWorks and other modern operating systems in a large number of electronic measuring instruments, electronic measuring instruments generally support the current network interface, in order to make the instrument easy to access the network, that is, achieving plug and play for the instrument. In this paper Jini technology is used to build automated test systems, employing JNI to solve the problem of interaction with the third-party development tools. The basic architecture of Jini is briefly introduced with an example, in which LabViEW is used as the client. And the general Jini application development process is discussed. It is shown that the Jini technology enables a distributed automatic test system more robust, flexible, and intelligent.
