Abstract :
A policy-based dynamic security management mechanism is presented to solve the security compatible problem between MIPv6 node (MN) and the access network (AN). The distributed defensive structure is integrated with MIPv6 to build a policy-based distributed secure architecture (PDSA). Security policies can be dynamically transferred within or between different security domains during MN´s movement, thus to make the architecture has appreciable and self-adapting capability against the topology change of AN.
