Abstract
This paper presents the results of a study that aims to examine the perceptions on organizational learning capabilities (OLC) namely organizational culture and teamwork cooperation of librarians in an academic library. Questionnaires were distributed to selected academic librarians in one large public university in Malaysia. Almost three-quarter (72%) of the questionnaires were returned for analysis. Descriptive and inferential statistical analyses were used to analyze the data. The result shows that respondents´ perception on organizational culture, teamwork cooperation and knowledge performance are very similar and moderately positive in their opinion. A strong relationship exists between organizational culture and teamwork cooperation. The results are important to the librarians and the academic libraries for enhancing the skills of learning and acquiring new knowledge.
