Abstract
This paper analyzes the characteristics of a small turbojet engine starting process, it puts forward an idea of building models in accordance with the different phases of the starting process. Taking use of the method which combines the starting test data and physical models, it establishes models of speed and starting current of the starting process, and it optimizes and simulates the dynamic process of starting current. The results of modeling prove the rationality of the idea of sectional modeling and the effectiveness of mixed modeling of data and physical models.
